Estimating the IQ of Donald Trump
He claims to have gotten a perfect score on the MOCA - which correlates with IQ at 0.64, probably closer to 0.7 when you account for the restriction of range in the sample. He does have a history of exaggerating personal accomplishments - but I don’t find it surprising he isn’t suffering cognitive decline, so I’ll take his word for it. According to a DM pumpkinperson got from the test creator, 10% of normals get a perfect score on the MOCA, which means he has a z-score of above 1.28 on the MOCA.
His current net worth is 2.5 billion. For now, I’ll treat him like every other billionaire and assume he has a wealth z-score of above 4.
Currently assuming a correlation between MOCA and IQ of 0.7 and one between IQ and wealth of 0.35
This ends with an estimated IQ of 134 and standard error of 9.
